About Lilian’s Flowers
I have been a professional florist for over 20 years and have created designs for hundreds of weddings, events and funerals. I also love to share what I have learned about flowers and have held very many workshops over the years.
Lilian’s Flowers – Is all about being properly seasonal, using what is grown easily, close by, to create beautiful designs and tributes for celebrations and funerals without harming the planet.
I have a garden full of foliage and I get the most exquisite flowers from growers that are not miles and miles away. Chiswick House’ marvellous cutting garden being one of my favourite places to pick.
Sustainable mechanics are equally important. No plastic or foam is needed to support or wrap flowers. My designs are completely compostable.
Christmas is the perfect time to celebrate our natural environment, on my hands-on workshops I take you through the steps of creating a natural, wreath using vine or willow wreath rings and seasonal winter foliage, herbs, branches, seed heads and pods to create truly unique, planet friendly designs.
